Time to Change Kingston Celebration Event
Time to Change Kingston is a mental health campaign with the objective of reducing mental health-related stigma and discrimination locally in Kingston.
On Wednesday 10 March 2021, a number of Time to Change Kingston Champions shared a whistle stop tour of their highlights of the project so far. If you missed it, now is your opportunity to catch up.
It was wonderful to hear Champions give a whistle stop tour of their highlights over the last couple of years at the Time to Change Kingston Celebration event. I am so inspired by all the Champions and Partners that have made this project thrive even in uncertain times. I am also very proud to look back and see how much the Hub has grown and Champions have gained in confidence. It has been such a pleasure to coordinate this project for the last 18 months and while I am sad that my time with the project is ending, I am so pleased to see that the Hub will be continuing the great work beyond March and look forward to seeing what amazing projects you come up with next. Thanks to the continued enthusiasm from Champions, Partners, Kingston Council and Mind in Kingston who have agreed to pick up the coordination role, there is still plenty to get involved with this year and hopefully for years to come.
So much has happened this year that it's so lovely remembering all of these events - I'm grateful for this time to reflect on it all and celebrate all of you!
Thanks to Time to Change for the great work in Kingston on mental health stigma. Thanks for starting the project to support the Tamil community.
This has been amazing. Some truly inspiring and humbling work here; thank you all so much.
