The Kingston Mental Health and Wellbeing Group, facilitated by Healthwatch Kingston, has supported Kingston Council in developing and reviewing the delivery of its Suicide Prevention Strategy. Find out more about the strategy and read it here.
At today’s Kingston Mental Health and Wellbeing Group meeting, partners and stakeholders took the opportunity to share the resources they are promoting and the events they have upcoming.

Learn to save a life… take the training today!
Through this 20-minute suicide awareness training you will gain skills and confidence to help someone who may be considering suicide.
Anyone can learn how to have a potentially life-saving conversation.
Learn how to spot suicide warning signs; how to have a conversation with someone you’re worried about; and where to signpost to for further support.
The training is recommended for anyone aged 16 and over.
