Self-check-in now available at Kingston Hospital’s emergency department
Kingston Hospital has introduced a new digital triage solution to allow patients to self-check-in when they arrive at the emergency department (A&E). Staff are available to support people who need assistance to use a self-check-in kiosk.
When you arrive at the emergency department, you will be asked to use a digital screen to check in and to answer some pre-treatment questions. You will then be directed to the most appropriate part of the emergency department for your clinical need and the answers you give about your condition will be available for the teams treating you, so you won’t need to answer the same questions each time you meet a new clinician.
