London Safeguarding Voices: End of Year Activity Update 2023-24

The LSV wants to bring together people with lived experience of Safeguarding from each London borough. Healthwatch Kingston has been re-commissioned by the London Safeguarding Adults Board to coordinate the LSV work programme.

The publication of this report has been delayed due to the pre-election period.

Rather than publishing all of our 14 reports (which cover our activities between 1 April 2023 and 30 June 2024) at the same time, we will stagger these reports as part of a communications plan which will run from 5 July to 30 August 2024.

If you would like access to this report before it is scheduled for publication, please email info@healthwatchkingston.org.uk and we will share this with you in advance.

Our message is simple – ‘safeguarding is everyone’s business’. Everyone needs to know what safeguarding means, what signs of abuse and neglect to look out for and know how to report an ‘adult at risk’ concern in their London borough.

We want to keep things as simple as possible and stay away from jargon.

What has the LSV been involved in over the last year?
