Healthwatch Kingston Annual Report 2016/2017

Summary

Looking back on 2016/17 and what we achieved across the board, there were two stand out aspects; the new Mental Health Strategy for Kingston which has been a triumph of co-production, and the innovative grassroots engagement programme we ran.

Other key achievements included a major survey of young people to determine their views on local children’s mental health services, a home care service user survey and survey of communications on outpatients’ appointment.

At the time of writing this report, we were recruiting to the Healthwatch Kingston manager post, a position that was vacant since the beginning of April 2017.
