Participation People, on behalf of NHS England would like to invite you to support their public consultation on the proposed relocation of specialist cancer services for children and young people in the South East.
young people consultation

Participation People are pleased to extend an invitation to you and your young ones, aged 1 – 15, to take part in a focus group that will help NHS leaders decide where cancer services for young people across South London and most of South East of England should be provided in the future. Those who participate will receive a £20 gift voucher for their input and time.

At Participation People, we believe that the key to building a future for our children lies in actively involving young people in the decision-making process. We recognise the unique insights that young people can provide, and we are eager to hear their thoughts, experiences, and suggestions.

We want to hear from as many young voices as possible, so please feel free to share this opportunity with your friends and family too!

What will the focus group look like?

The focus group aims to create an open and constructive dialogue between young people and families. It will be instrumental in providing feedback to NHS England’s decision-making around cancer services for young people across the region.

During the focus group session, we will explore topics such as:

  • How moving services might impact children and young people
  • How the NHS can manage those impacts
  • What the different options for the future look like
