Time to Change Kingston Mental Health Conversations

Community events
Rose Theatre, Kingston
Wednesday 15th June, 2022 - 18:00 to 21:00

About this event

Time to Change Kingston warmly invites you to our event, ‘Tell me about it - meaningful conversations as a bridge to overcoming loneliness’, at the Rose Theatre!

This event is free and open to the public.

There will be a couple of activities taking place throughout the night run by our wonderful Champions.

First activity will be a colouring in workshop hosted by Champion Dorota 6:30pm – 7:30pm.

Engaging in conversations about mental health may be a bit challenging for all parties involved. It is not easy to make these conversations helpful and meaningful. Let's talk about the language we use and explore what phrases are helpful and which are not. Afterwards, lets relax with colouring in an image from the colouring book created by Dorota Chioma.

The colouring book explores the topic of what to say and not to say when engaging in mental health conversations and will be given as a freebie to each participant!

Second activity will be the official music video premier for Never Alone, 8pm – 8:30pm.

Never Alone music video is a collaborative song about the benefits nature brings to our minds and mental well-being. Join us for this exciting showing and hear from one of the musicians with a Q&A after!

Join us for quality time and share a drink with friends after a long while or get to know new people!

Please do share and forward this invite to anyone you think might be interested in coming along.

We hope to see you there!
